Topic: November 5, 2009 Downtime

It appears at approximately 10am MST the network within the data center experienced unexpected issues. During which time all servers were unreachable, and caused one of our webservers to lock. The outage appears to have lasted a minimum of 50 minutes according to remote hosts.

We will be updating web1 next week to resolve the issue of lockups.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

UPDATE: 3:42PM: The data center network was affected by a L3 switch going down along with two UPS failures. web1 was affected by the UPS outage and did not lock.
